Care By Design makes five different types of sublingual drops, ranging in concentrations from 18:1 to 1:1, CBD: THC. Reviewed here is the most THC-heavy of the group, which contains 240mg each of CBD and THC in a 15ml bottle. With 480mg of cannabinoid compounds in a half-ounce bottle, that’s a pretty heavily packed concentration of both CBD and THC.
The product is suspended in coconut oil, and a full dropper — one ml in volume — contains a hefty 16mg each of CBD and THC. The product has a very mild flavor with only a mild terpene note to it, which is very unusual given the significant concentration of the product.
I used the product for several weeks, varying the dosage from a quarter of a dropper to a full dropper. I found it took a significant dose — nearer the full dropper — to create any real effect, leaving me to wonder about the effectiveness of the cannabis used as a base for the product. It’s well-priced considering the total amount of CBD and THC in the product, but considering you’ll probably need to use a lot more than you might expect to achieve any effect, the overall value of the product may be quite a bit lower than you’d like.
