This new muscle cream is packed with a whopping 1500mg of full spectrum CBD in a 2.96oz container. In honesty, “cream” is a total misnomer. Extract Labs is more solid than a typical stick of deodorant, so don’t think you’ll just scoop out a dollop of cream to rub on your sore muscles. It takes real effort to get much of the product from the container to your fingertips, and more effort to transfer that product from your fingers to wherever you’re experiencing aches and pains. In other words: Hope it’s not your hands that are experiencing the soreness.
The product is filled with more than just full spectrum CBD, drawn from hemp oil, it’s made with shea, menthol, jojoba, beeswax, arnica, rosemary, and lavender — all organic except for the hemp. You’ll smell the menthol, but it’s the rosemary that really sticks around. Put this stuff on at night and you’ll still be smelling it in the morning.
As with most CBD topicals, I found the product to be effective — but only for a very short time. After a half hour, I found that the cream had largely worn off, necessitating reapplication. Multiple applications means a lot of herbal smell clinging to you, plus a slight stickiness by way of a tacky residue.
$90 for a container is a lot, but you don’t really need to use much of the product at a time, so I’d expect the nearly 3-ounce container to last for ages. After a month of fairly regular use, I’ve barely made a dent in the thing.
